This question brings the entire deck together.
Lifelong marriage formation is larger than a class, retreat, event calendar, mentoring program, website, or parish initiative.
It is an operating idea.
Couples prepare for marriage, but formation continues once they begin living it. They have ways to keep learning. They encounter other husbands and wives in real life. They have trusted relationships and places to bring questions. Strong marriages are invited to keep growing. Newlyweds are not forgotten. NFP remains part of married life. Husbands and wives can engage both together and individually. Ministry leaders can understand what couples need without having to create every resource themselves.
This is the purpose of the Marriage Formation Flywheel.
IRL (In Real Life), Education, and Accompaniment reinforce one another. No single component has to carry the entire formation burden.
For one couple, education may be the first doorway. Another may enter through friendship. Another may reconnect because someone intentionally checks in. Over time, those experiences can build a continuing relationship with formation, other couples, and the Church.
Marriage Every Day exists to help make that kind of ongoing ecosystem practical.
It is designed to complement the marriage ministry already happening locally and extend the Church's investment in husbands and wives beyond preparation and the wedding day.
What a ministry can do with this
- Draw your current marriage formation journey from engagement through the years after the wedding.
- Identify where IRL (In Real Life), Education, and Accompaniment already exist and where one is missing.
- Choose one gap that can be strengthened without creating an entirely new ministry from scratch.

Where we are now
Where does our current approach already support lifelong formation, and where does it become disconnected?
Where we could go
If a couple stayed connected to marriage formation for years, what would we want that experience to include?
