The question is on the front. Turn the card over for our take, then keep reading for what a ministry can actually do with it.

A couple's questions about Natural Family Planning may change substantially once NFP becomes part of their married life.

Questions can involve understanding a method, communication between spouses, discernment, Catholic teaching, fertility awareness, frustration, expectations, or simply how another couple has navigated similar experiences.

Some questions require qualified NFP instruction. Some are pastoral. Some may require appropriate medical care. A ministry leader does not need to become the expert in all three.

The ministry does need to help couples know where honest questions are welcome and where trustworthy support can be found.

That matters because couples may hesitate to raise sensitive questions if they expect judgment, embarrassment, or a simplistic response.

A Catholic approach can be both faithful and genuinely open to conversation. It can clearly teach the Church's vision while acknowledging that couples are learning how to live that vision within real circumstances.

Ongoing marriage formation gives NFP a place to remain discussable.

The goal of this card is educational, not medical. Marriage Every Day can help keep the conversation active while pointing couples toward qualified instructors, clergy, or other appropriate support when a question exceeds the scope of general formation.

What a ministry can do with this

  • Make the ministry's trusted NFP education and referral pathways easy to identify.
  • Ask married couples whether they know whom they would contact with an NFP question today.
  • Create opportunities for NFP questions after the wedding, not only during formal preparation.

Take this to your team

Where we are now

If a married couple asked us an honest NFP question today, would we know where to direct them?

Where we could go

How could we make continued NFP learning feel normal, accessible, and faithful after the wedding?

For ministry leaders

Wondering how this connects to what you already do?

Marriage Every Day works alongside parishes and ministries rather than replacing what they have built. If the questions in this deck are the ones you keep running into, we would like to hear about your situation.
